Having its roots in Australia, the didgeridoo stems from the unique and timeless Australian Aboriginal culture. Thought to be one of the oldest musical instruments on the planet, the didgeridoo is used in large celebrations to pass down stories often incorporating dance and song.
Rhythm Workshops
This workshop covers many topics, emphasizing how to create rhythms using easy to understand excercises. Learn fundamental didge techniques such as base sounds, tone sounds & gut slaps. Participants will learn how to create rhythms with easy word formulas using their mouth, tongue, lips, cheeks, throat, lungs and belly. Each shop includes an introduction to circular breathing.

Dragon Fly Rhythms is pleased to facilitate workshops on how to play the didgeridoo. These highly motivational and interactive workshops will cover various topics from beginner to advanced, emphisizing circular breathing and creating rhythm. A twenty page study guide and pvc pipe student didges are available for the beginner workshop, but if you have your own didgeridoo feel free to bring it.
